An Active Hope

We live in the space between worlds.

In the already, but not yet.

Both the past and the future are breaking into the present reality to give us perspective, context, understanding…

…and hope.

Jesus, the Crucified King

Christ isn’t just any King. He is a King that chooses poverty over riches. He is a King that makes peace instead of going to war. He is King that calls his subjects friends. He is a King that dies for sake of people that hate him.

Stand firm and hold on

By all means, aggressively pursue good for your family, your community, your country…but however you vote or don’t vote, whatever you say or do in any situation, don’t trade your obedience, your Christlikeness, your faithful witness to his saving grace and mercy, for what you might perceive as “results.”
