We believe that the worship of God is what we were created for and that we should approach Him reverently, in truth, and with a joyous heart. We worship God as Father, bowing before Him with reverence and awe; we worship God as the Son, the Word that was made flesh and made His dwelling with us, allowing us to hear from the written word, the Holy Scriptures; we worship God as the Holy Spirit, listening to His Spirit as He breathes the breath of life into us as we gather for worship. We encounter God as we read and reflect on Scripture, as we sing our praises and thanksgivings to Him, as we come to His table in the mystical union of the risen Christ, as we anoint with oil and pray for the sick and infirm. We continue to worship Him as we “go out to do the work He has given us to do – to love and serve Him with gladness and singleness of heart.”
